Will Become Clear

Only When You Look into

Your HEART, Who Looks

Outside Dreams, Who Looks

Inside, AWAKENS.....

quoted by "Carl Jung"

What is Art Therapy?

Art therapy uses various art mediums with a creative process to make art. It

improves a persons physical, mental and emotional well-being. Art therapy is sometimes called creative art or expressive arts therapy, as it encourages people to express and understand their emotions, through artistic expression and creative processes, to find healing and deeper meaning on their personal life journey.

What is the Trans-personal Art Therapy approach?

It by-passes all the chatter of the mind and tunes us into our creative, intuitive side, heart and soul. Transpersonal processes are used to take you to a deeper place using relaxation/meditation techniques. It looks past the "persona" or mask that we all wear, takes you to the core of your soul, and so connecting to the spiritual aspect of one self. It is a powerful creative therapy tool, that goes straight to the source of our being to find meaning within our lives.

How does it work?

Relaxation/Meditation techniques are used to tap into the subconscious. These meditative forms of relaxation have been around for centuries and have been recognised as having many health benefits. The silence and stillness of relaxation/meditation techniques are calming. Relaxes us to release pent-up stress and makes us feel more at peace. By quieting the mind through relaxation techniques, the person can slowly begin to tap into their own subconscious, listen to the small voice and visualise, what is stored there at a deeper level.
